1. Information We Collect

What's My Fortune? is designed to collect only what is needed to sell, deliver, and open digital fortune cookie bags.

• Checkout details: Stripe processes your payment and may provide us with your email address, payment status, and checkout session ID so we can fulfill your purchase.
• Bag and cookie data: We store private bag tokens, cookie tokens, quote assignments, opened status, timestamps, and email delivery status so purchased bags can be opened and shared.
• Browser locale: The home page reads your browser language settings to display a localized price. We do not save that locale preference.

2. Local Data

The current app does not use browser local storage to save purchased bags, cookies, email addresses, or payment details. The home page preview uses temporary in-browser state while you tap the demo cookie, but that preview does not create a saved bag and is not used for checkout fulfillment.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to create paid fortune bags, send private bag links, show bag and cookie pages, mark cookies as opened, prevent duplicate checkout fulfillment, and send the completion email when all cookies in a bag have been opened.

4. Service Providers

We do not sell personal data. We use trusted service providers to run the app: Stripe for checkout and payment processing, Supabase for storing bag and cookie records, Resend for email delivery, and hosting infrastructure to serve the website. These providers may process technical information such as IP address, device, browser, and request logs as part of operating and securing their services.

5. Security

Bag and cookie records are accessed through server-side services. We do not store raw payment card details in the app. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, but we keep the data we collect limited to what the product needs.

6. Your Choices

Keep your private bag and cookie links safe, because anyone with a link may be able to view or open that cookie. If you have questions about your purchase data or want help with a privacy request, contact us through the main creator site.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
